Formulación de un plan de desarrollo agropecuario y forestal para una comunidad ejidal del municipio de San Fernando, Chiapas, México. Leopoldo Medina Sansón Manuel Anaya Garduño Víctor Volke Haller Carlos Ortiz Solorio Estudios Agrarios common agreement agriculture development plan Chiapas´ State has an economical profile essentially rural so, it must be recognized the diversity of itsagriculture, livestock and forestry to generate specific conditions of development. Considering theprevious questions, this research was carried out between May of 1998 and December of 1999, as acase study about the most important aspects that are related to agriculture, livestock and forestry atthe Villa Allende ejido, which expresses several problems, typical from the ejidal sector of this region.Villa Allende ejido has 3300 hectares, 554 ejidatarios and it is located in the Central Region ofChiapas. The ejidatarios´s circumstances, local knowledge and agricultural working process werestudied through a planning approach. On these bases, the development plan was done. This is the firsttime in the San Fernando municipality that a plan is formulated for ejidatarios´s sector. The plan´spurpose is to generate a broad proposal about agriculture, livestock and forestry for the Villa Allendepeople, in order to achieve agreements to improve ejidatarios´s welfare. Next development policies arepointed out: 1. Production reinforcing and alimentary self sufficiency. 2. Economic growth promotion, 3Endowment of basic infrastructure, 4. Reordering of agriculture, livestock and forestry with criteria,social, ecological and economical. 5. Health´s promotion.
