It is causing a paradigm drift towards knowledge capitalization for improvement of productivity-driven competition to attain better economic performance, wealth generation, and development. Research has identified an intellectual entrepreneurial capacity gap as the constraint to attaining equity between developed and developing economies. The gap is fuelling the growing technological innovation divide the widening boundary between developed and developing economies.
