The study has aspatial approach throughthe use of GeographicInformation Systems(GIS). The methodologyused the analysis of landuse changes during the1984-2004 period of timethat required the use oftwo satellite imagines likeLandsat MSS y LandsatTM. Respecto a la orbita querecorre este satélite, el áreade las ciudades estudiadasestá registrada en la escena3238.
