Delgado Luzmila Sánchez Biología Bolívar Taxonomy Venezuela Caura River Euglenophyta This study gives information on taxonomy and presence of Euglenophyta occurringin various types of water bodies from the lower basin of the Caura River and its floodplain,Bolívar State,Venezuela. Specimens were collected between March 1998 and February2000. Twenty one species were identified, among them 13 taxa new for Venezuela. All taxaare illustrated using original drawings.
