Smith Agrociencias Coverage Surfactants Pulverization The relation between coverage and the use of surfactants was studied.Two products (alcohol etoxylate and nonyl phenol) of Rhizobacter ArgentinaS.A. were employed, on three different concentrations. The treatments wereperformed using a spray boot equipment, a (8015) nozzle with a pressure of 300kPa at distance of 0,58 m with a total flow of 78 liters per hectare. The coverageover soybean (Glycine max L.) leaves and water sensitive paper (WSP), wasmeasured using digitalized microscope photographs and a specific software thatcalculated number and drop size together with the overall coverage. The results indicate that the coverage using distilled water was significantly lower over leaves than on WSP. Coverage was modified by the type of surface and concentrationsof the product.
