While the city itself becomes a commodity to be consumed, cultural activities turn into means of promoting and selling it. Integrating conservation and valorization of cultural heritage in the domain of community development, education and tourism, as well as encouraging its accessibility and knowledge, can be helpful in raising awareness among communities on the importance of cultural heritage in its identity.
