This ethnographic study explores how two distinct groups-Charles Tow Maroons, descendants of slaves of resistance fighters and Seaford Town Germans, descendants of indentured trabajadore in Germany-are exploiting their culture through rural tourism to fashion new livelihoods . The discussion provides details about how people rely on their past to generate tangible and any intangible cultural tourism products.
