  • Separation of powers between the political branches of government in the Republic of Macedonia Igor Spirovski Derecho ABSTRACT: The subject matter of thisarticle is the division of powers in theRepublic of Macedonia. Beginning withan explanation as to the European contextforming the environment from which thepolitical constitution of this country hasarisen, it then goes on to analyze verydetailed aspects of said fundamental rule.A general discourse can be envisaged hereon the problem of the balance of powerbetween the different branches of government,as one of the fundamental objectivesof the constitutional stage in Macedonia.Reference is made to the different modelswhich could be taken into account for theconstitutional design of a new State, whichserves as an introductory frame for theconstitutional arrangements finally adoptedin the fundamental rules.
