In this work we present an analysis of the psychometric properties, in terms of structural validity and internal consistency, of a Spanish version of the Survey of Attitudes Towards Statistics (SATS-36) administered to education students. The results obtained from the 409 participants indicate a lack of fit for the six-factor model proposed by the authors of the SATS, especially compared with the five-factor model with corrected mistakes that the authors of this work propose.
