This form of e - banking is suitable for small businessmen or private usage and its usage increases with the rise of popularity of mobile phones with operation systems. Transmitted information is more sensitive and related to financial transactions in e - commerce or communication between the client and the bank. There is an extremely important question of security hid den on the background of these applications. Is the security of distributed Smart Banking applications in Slovakia sufficient ? How secure are these applications and which features may influence the security of these applications. The aim of the paper is to analyze the security of Smart Banking applications distributed by Slovak banks. The outcomes of our research are the specific ations of parameters which affects the security of these applications.
