- P‐9.10: Influence of microstructure film on the half‐brightness angle of display module Ningning Li Weibo Li Jingjun Du Ziyan Zhang Wei Zhang Guangquan Wang SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers Traditional LCDs are typically designed for forward viewing. When not facing, the brightness of the screen will drop rapidly, resulting in poor viewing effect. In order to solve this problem, the microstructure film of the backlight in the display module was adjusted. According to the half‐brightness viewing angle data, different schemes are designed to achieve the requirements of ±45°, ±60°, ±80° half‐brightness viewing angle. In addition, the microstructure of the film was optimized. The impact of microstructure parameters on the half‐brightness angle is summarized. 10.1002/sdtp.19082 http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/termsAndConditions#vor
