Bloch Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry There has been renewed interest in elucidating the role of the endocannabinoid system on both brain development and psychological phenomena across the lifespan. In parallel to these efforts, the use of cannabis‐related drugs for the treatment of psychiatric disorders in the community has increased considerably over the past several years. In an excellent research review article in JCPP , Tansey et al. provide a comprehensive overview of what the field of developmental psychopathology has learned about the endocannabinoid system.
