contents
This paper discusses the application of the Dynamic Analytic Hierarchy Process (DAHP) in evaluating the criticality of electric engine components in a Chilean copper mine's secondary crushing process. DAHP, an extension of the traditional Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), incorporates time as a factor, allowing for dynamic decision-making that adapts to changing conditions. The methodology is applied to assess failure modes based on criteria such as failure frequency, repair time, repair cost, and safety, revealing how component criticality rankings evolve over time. This approach supports proactive maintenance management and continuous improvement by integrating both qualitative and quantitative factors.
