contents
This work focuses on innovative recycling methods for Rare Earth Elements (REEs) from electronic waste (WEEE) and end-of-life magnets. We explore the use of microwave treatment and mechanochemistry as efficient and environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional processes for recovering REEs. The final goal is to produce recycled NdFeB powders suitable for manufacturing new magnets, thereby supporting a circular economy and reducing the criticality of REEs for green technologies.
