| contents | Remains of a wall that used to be part of the eastern palace in Rožnov castle. [The castle is located in the easternmost Moravia above town Rožnov pod Radhoštěm](https://goo.gl/maps/ZJe9eushbuWs4r9X7). History of the castle begins probably in mid 14th century when it was located by the lords of Kravaře. Castle underwent renaissance redesing in the beginning of 16th century. Shortly after the reconstruction castle was taken by the bandit group against the will of castle owners. Ferdinand I, bohemian king and a holy roman emperor, demolished the castle as a way to stop the bandit group. Remains of the castle are located on the Hradisko hill southwest of Rožnov. It was fortified by several lines of fortification. Some were constructed as stone walls, others were ramparts and moats. The castle itself was about 53 metres long and 22 metres wide and a palace was situated on each of the two ends. Eastern palace had two parts.
