contents
This study aimed to assess the impact of a worksheet approach on the mathematical skills of Grade Four learners at Almendras Elementary School. Employing a quasi-experimental research design, specifically a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design, the research investigated a sample of 76 students. Section A (n=38) served as the control group, while Section B (n=38) served as the experimental group. The study was conducted at Almendras Elementary School, Sta. Cruz North District, Division of Davao Del Sur, focusing on an intact group of learners with homogeneous academic performance. Non-random assignment was used to ensure all participants from both sections A and B were included. The findings indicate that the implementation of simplified worksheets significantly enhanced the mathematical skills of Grade Four learners. Statistical analysis revealed a notable difference in post-test scores between the control and experimental groups, suggesting the efficacy of the worksheet approach in improving student outcomes.
