Distinguished by the whitish prickles on the blade axes. <i>Pteris coriacea</i> Desv., a related species, is known from Ecuador and Peru (Tryon & Stolze 1989); <i>Solomon 11375</i> (MO, not seen), from Bolivia, is cited as this species, but the identity needs verification.</p> |
