contents
Slides used during the ELIXIR 2024 All Hands Meeting MiniSymposium titled: "Challenges and partnerships for integrated data in biodiversity, pathogens, agroecology and food security"

In the priorities of the ELIXIR Scientific Programme 2024-2028, genetics, including phenomics, & omics science connecting biodiversity, food security, agroecology and pathogens has been identified as a societal challenge and scientific opportunity set as a core domain that shapes ELIXIR's activities. The Programme stresses that the essential role of sequence related information is not only critical to understand the diversity and breadth of life on Earth but also to ensure an environment friendly food security through agroecology, aquaculture and one health approach of pathogen studies. This role lies not only in the intrinsic value of molecular data, but also in its integration for multiomics analysis with genetics, omics and phenomics data in close collaboration with other research infrastructures. This approach has been in particular engaged in the AGROSERV and PHENET HE-INFRA projects for agroecology and BiCIKL for Biodiversity.
