S. Feldman, ex <i>Tephrosia virginiana</i>, # CSE6308 (1 adult, MLBM).</p><p><b>Host.</b> * Fabaceae: <i>Tephrosia virginiana</i> (L.) Pers. This is the first published larval or adult host association for <i>O. floridana</i>.</p><p><b>Biology.</b> The oval, brown egg is deposited next to the midrib on the lower leaf surface (Fig. 16). The larva forms full-depth blotch mines with frass in scattered, short, squiggly strips, requiring several leaflets to complete its development (Figs. 69–70).</p> |
