| contents | <p><em><span>The introduction of Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) as a digital form of a country's official currency has become a major topic in global economic policy discussions. This study aims to evaluate the role played by Management Information System (MIS) in facilitating the adoption of Digital Rupiah as a means of payment in Indonesia. Using qualitative methods and literature analysis, we investigate the various efforts made by SIM in supporting the introduction and deployment of Digital Rupiah. The results show that SIM plays a key role in processing transactions, strengthening technology infrastructure, managing security risks, and facilitating public education and awareness. However, risks such as data security, regulatory compliance, and its integration with the existing financial system are still the main focus. Thus, this study provides information on how SIM can continue to play an effective role in supporting the adoption of Digital Rupiah and driving the development of digital economy in Indonesia</span></em></p> |
