Aspö <i>ck et al.</i> 2001: 421, 434, 447; Canbulat & Kiyak 2002: 415; Stange 2004: 140; Canbulat 2007: 44; Ábrahám & Giacomino 2020: 41; Oswald 2024a).</p><p><b>Note:</b> The mix-up of the names and synonyms for the species <i>C. lugdunensis</i> and <i>C. plumbeus</i> is a reason for the species name seen in articles about Indian fauna. The junior synonym of <i>C. plumbeus</i> from India, <i>Creoleon murinus</i>, was originally mentioned by Navás (Navás 1931b: 83). <i>C. lugdunensis</i> was thought to be synonymous with the species names <i>C. plumbeus</i> and <i>C. murinus</i> by Ghosh & Sen (1977). The species name <i>C. lugdunensis</i> in the Indian checklists (Ghosh & Sen 1977: 302; Ghosh 1983a: 86; Sharma & Chandra 2012: 487) is referred to in the faunistic data of <i>C. murinus</i> given by Navás (Navás 1931b: 83). It is necessary to remove the species’ name from the Indian faunal lists (Suryanarayanan <i>et al.</i> 2024b: 6).</p> |
