contents
The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of Problem Based Learning (PBL) through outbound on science literacy intelligence in grade IV students of plant material in elementary school. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research method The design of this study is a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study is grade IV students of SD Negeri Tempurejo 01, Tempursari District, Lumajang Regency, totaling 30 students as research subjects. The sampling technique in this study is probability sampling with random sampling technique. The data collection technique used tests and the data was calculated using Anakova analysis to see the significant influence of Problem Based Learning through outbound on literacy. The results of the study using ankova data analysis showed that the average pretest-posttest scores of science literacy in the experimental class were 20 and 83 with a difference of 63, and in the control class the pretest-posttest scores were 20 and 69 with a difference of 49. After paying attention to the data, it can be seen that there is a difference in the average score of students before and after being given treatment, a sig value of 0.05 is obtained so that the Ha hypothesis is accepted. This proves that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model through outbound is more effective in increasing science literacy in grade IV students at SD Negeri Tempurej 01.
