-
This is a linguistics-based discourse analysis of the Minor Prophets studied as a collection. It reveals the organisation and themes of the collection as a whole as opposed to just a list of the different members of the set. This, in turn, reveals that the love of God is the main theme of the whole collection, and that the book of Micah is the most prominent (the most important) book in the collection. Micah's particular contribution to the whole collection is that God's plan of salvation for His people will arise in a surprising way out of a context of judgment.
