contents
The high cost involved in Power Electronics experiments makes laboratory practices unfeasible, reducing the number of practical experiments involving frequency inverters, controlled rectifiers or other converters. Thus, the objective of this document is to present a lowcost three-phase inverter to be used in laboratory classes with practical experiments to obtain the inverter output voltage waveforms. A 4-channel oscilloscope was used to measure the phase voltages. This experiment shows the phase and line voltage waveforms, using the 120-degree and180-degree conduction modes. The experimentally obtained waveforms are also compared with waveforms simulated with the PSIM software.
