| contents | <p>The adoption of 5G in the world is occurring intensively, indicating a need to implement more Base Stations to meet this demand. However, an inadequate arrangement of these Base Stations can lead to non-optimized throughput values. This paper presents an application of a Differential Evolution algorithm to determine a better arrangement of Base Stations in a simulated scenario of 5G networks using millimeter waves. The results show that it is possible to increase the average throughput by applying the proposed technique. </p> |
