contents <div> <p>As part of the <strong>Epiverse TRACE LAC</strong> project and its <strong>aim to strengthen regional capacities for data analytics</strong>, the <strong>"Empowering Afro-Colombian Women on Data Science in Public Health"</strong> workshop was held in Quibdó to enhance skills in epidemiological data analysis for public health decision-making. The workshop focused on <strong>developing R programming skills</strong> for data analysis and visualization, enabling participants to improve public health data management. Attendees included <strong>health professionals, students, and faculty</strong> from the Colombian Pacific region. This workshop underscored the importance of <strong>open-source tools like R</strong> in building regional analytical capacities and strengthening decision-making in public health, contributing to the empowerment of Afro-Colombian professionals in data science.</p> </div>
