•
The Booklet was created as part of the two-day international symposium dedicated to Krystyna Bednarczyk on the centenary of her birth, held on 18–19 November 2023 in London. The event, titled "Krystyna Bednarczyk and Her Poets and Painters’ Press", was organised by the Research Centre on the Legacy of Polish Migration (ReCeLPM) at the Union of Polish Writers Abroad (ZPPnO) in collaboration with University College London, School of Slavonic and East European Studies (UCL SSEES), and the Polish University Abroad (PUNO).

The booklet design, developed by Dr Justyna Gorzkowicz and Jarosław Solecki (Blue Point Art), was directly inspired by the visual identity of Oficyna Poetów, the publishing house founded by Krystyna and Czesław Bednarczyk. The booklet prominently featured the Oficyna logo, originally designed by Zygmunt Turkiewicz, maintaining the publishing house’s signature aesthetic. In addition to the symposium programme, the booklet included a selection of bilingual poems by Krystyna and Czesław Bednarczyk, reflecting Oficyna’s publishing traditions and reinforcing the interdisciplinary nature of the symposium.

This publication was produced as part of the “Unveiling the Heritage: Krystyna Bednarczyk (1923–2011) – Polish Poet and Co-Founder of Poets and Painters’ Press in London” project, made possible with support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
