Kindersley's translation of the Thirukkural, published in 1794, to be the first English translation of the Thirukkural, it is not the first complete English translation of the Thirukkural. The scope and basis of this paper is to illustrate and explain the first complete English translation of the Thirukkural. The English translations of the Thirukkural, as well as studies and books on them, have been taken as supporting materials for this endeavor.</p> <p> </p> |
