- <p><span>Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a cluster of interconnected risk factors, including abdominal obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and insulin resistance, which significantly increase the likelihood of developing cardiovascular diseases. Recent studies highlight the critical role of heart morphology changes in individuals with MetS, contributing to cardiovascular dysfunction. This study explores the relationship between MetS and cardiac morphology, focusing on structural alterations such as left ventricular hypertrophy, myocardial fibrosis, and changes in chamber dimensions. The underlying pathophysiological mechanisms, including insulin resistance, oxidative stress, and chronic inflammation, are examined in relation to these changes. The article also discusses potential correction approaches, emphasizing the importance of early detection and targeted treatment strategies to mitigate the long-term cardiovascular risks associated with MetS. </span></p>
