  • <p><span>The analysis of value added per unit of labor in Italy from 2014 to 2023 highlights an irregular productivity trend, characterized by overall growth of 4% but with significant fluctuations reflecting the various economic phases the country has undergone. Value added per unit of labor, expressed at 2020 chained prices, increased from 67,732.64 in 2014 to 70,434.77 in 2023, with an absolute rise of 2,702.13 units. However, this growth has not been linear and has been influenced by numerous factors, including the macroeconomic environment, economic policies adopted, and the impact of exceptional events such as the COVID-19 pandemic.</span></p>
