  • <p><span>This article explores the life of German Baptists in the Karaganda region during the 1950s and 1960s. Based on archival documents, the study examines key aspects such as the organization of their religious life, the challenges they faced in registering prayer houses, and the role of the German language in worship services. It also addresses issues of deportation, the status of special settlers, and their adaptation to new conditions. The study provides insight into how German Baptists preserved their faith and culture during the Soviet era.</span></p>
