«Iluminar con la letra la temible oscuridad»: estrategias narrativas para reescribir la dictadura en Nona Fernández

| contents | <div> <div> <div> <p><strong>Resumen</strong>: El artículo consiste en un análisis de las estrategias narrativas utilizadas por Nona Fernández, en las novelas <em>Space Invaders, Chilean Electric</em> y <em>La dimensión desconocida</em>, para reconstruir la historia del pasado recien- te. La obra de Nona Fernández abre la posibilidad de restituir el recuerdo y configurar una memoria colectiva a partir de la memoria individual y la ficción. Su escritu- ra responde a la pregunta de su generación: ¿cómo abordar, desde el arte, el pasado amputado de la dicta- dura en un tiempo presente de globalización y sobreex- posición mediática? Los mecanismos que se emplean para llevar a cabo dicha reescritura conforman un canon que reúne múltiples perspectivas. Desde el plano más íntimo: los sueños y los recuerdos; desde un plano más objetivo: testimonios y documentos oficiales; y desde el plano literario: la imaginación.</p> <div> <div> <div> <p><strong>Abstract</strong>: This paper consists of an analysis of narrative strategies used by Nona Fernández to rebuild the histo- ry of the recent past, in her novels <em>Space Invaders, Chilean Electric</em> and <em>La dimensión desconocida</em>. Nona Fernández’s work offers the possibility of returning the memory and compose a collective remembrance based on individual memories and fiction. Her writing answers the question of her generation: How to approach, from art, the incomplete past of the dictatorship in a present of globalization and media overexposure? The mecha- nisms for rewriting the past constitute an amount of multiple perspectives. From the most subjective level: dreams and memories; from the objective level: testi- monies and official documents; and from the literary level: imagination.</p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> |
