contents <p>R scripts used for"Drying of the Panama Canal in a warming climate" by Muñoz et al.:</p> <ul> <li>Gatun_GAM.R develops a GAM using precipitation (observed) and reservoir evaporation (reanalysis/computed) fit to Gatun Lake water levels, and computes 95% prediction intervals. It also applies this GAM to NEX-GDDP-CMIP6 model output.</li> <li>Gatun_GEV.R perform extreme value analysis using a generalized extreme value (GEV) function on lake level minima.</li> <li>Gatun_bootstrap.R computes the bootstrapped mean and 95% confidence intervals for inputted lake level minina. Also applicable to other variables (e.g., precipitation, reservoir evaporation).</li> </ul>
