- <p><span>The increasing complexity of power distribution networks, combined with the rise of renewable energy sources, has spurred the development of autonomous distributed systems for smart grids. These systems leverage advanced algorithms and distributed computing to optimize energy distribution, enhance grid stability, and reduce operational costs. This paper explores recent advancements in autonomous distributed systems for smart grids, focusing on the integration of machine learning, multiagent systems, and blockchain technology. We evaluate the effectiveness of these technologies through simulations and discuss future directions for research in this domain.</span> </p>
