Through qualitative research methods, including thirteen interviews and visual ethnography, the study aims to uncover the various meanings, emotions and connections that people attribute to their jewellery pieces. Moreover, the research will explore how the receiving and inheritance of jewellery contribute to the preservation of traditions, values and memories across the generations defying the spatial and temporal barriers.
