This paper details advantages and use cases and explores BPXBATCH, BPXATSL, JZOS Batch Launcher, WebSphere Liberty Profile, and WebSphere Compute Grid. Java's interoperability with COBOL and HLASM through Language Environment (LE) and Java Native Interface (JNI) is thoroughly discussed. Performance tuning strategies and methods for overcoming typical encoding and integration challenges are also addressed.</p> |
