| contents |
This data is supplementary to Markus et al. (2024) Laboratory reflectance spectra of enstatite and oldhamite mixtures for comparison with Earth-based reflectance spectra of asteroid 2867 Šteins and Mercury. Planetary and Space Science 244, 105887. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.pss.2024.105887

The dataset comprises reflectance spectra of synthetic oldhamite and mixtures of this oldhamite with the orthoenstatite from Markus et al. (2018) from 0.3 to 17 µm as presented in Markus at al. (2024).

First column gives wavelength in µm, second column gives reflectance. Incidence angle and emergence angles are both 15° with a resulting phase angle of 30°.

Please note that in Markus et al. (2024) we only show the spectral regions from 0.3 to 1.0 µm and 4.5 to 16 µm. The spectral region between 1 and ~1.6 µm was difficult to measure for all samples containing oldhamite and we are therefore not confident about the quality of the spectra in this region.

If you use these spectra, please also cite the PSS publication.
|
