contents <p>This report contains a detailed geological study of the Inani Anticline and the Cox’s Bazar coastline which also discusses the complex geological processes of the Eastern Fold Belt. Submerged and exposed flanks constitute the NNW-SSE trending Indo-Burman Orogenic Inani Anticline, part of the Indo-Burman Orogen. The Upper Bokabil Formation is dominated by the Surma Group, with tidal deltaic to fluvial sedimentary environments. Subsurface geology and groundwater potential are revealed by geophysical methods. Past changes in sea level, and climate variations are indicated by coastal landforms. The area, which is rich in heavy minerals, is at risk for environmental damage from extraction. Geological hazard mitigation requires understanding. The study helps future research, resource management, and hazard mitigation.</p>
