| contents | <p>Der Begriff der Praxis ist für den Gegenstandsbereich Schul- und Berufspraktischer Studien zentral. Jenseits seiner präskriptiv-instrumentellen Verwendung als Opposition zur Theorie ist er aber meist unterbestimmt. Mit sogenannten «Praxistheorien» liegt ein soziologisches Deutungsangebot vor, dessen Eignung im vorliegenden Beitrag für die Zwecke der Beschreibung und Analyse einerseits sowie der Konzeption und Gestaltung Berufspraktischer Studien andererseits untersucht wird. In most cases, however, it is merely used in an instrumental way and in opposition to the concept of theory. Against this background, so-called «practice theories» provide a sociological foundation for description and interpretations as well as for conceptual decisions. In this contribution, I examine the heuristic potential of these theories for </span><span lang="EN-US">the domain of studies on professional practice. The results show both relevant applications and limitations with respect to the normative principles that guide conceptual decisions in this field of study in teacher education.</span></p> |
