- <p><span>The study aimed to address the low Science performance of students in the Division of Agusan del Sur by developing and utilizing interactive-based contextualized strategic intervention materials (CSIM) to enhance learning outcomes. The research employed a developmental and mixed-method approach, integrating both quantitative and qualitative data. The study involved 20 teacher validators, 5 expert validators, and 30 Grade 8 students to assess the quality and effectiveness of the developed material. Results revealed that the CSIM received highly satisfactory ratings from both teachers and experts, confirming their pedagogical value. Statistical analysis indicated a significant improvement in students’ performance, as shown by a notable difference between pre-test and post-test scores, affirming the effectiveness of CSIM in addressing the least-learned competencies in Earth Science. Additionally, qualitative feedback emphasized the need for content enhancement through the incorporation of cultural elements and improvements in instructional and assessment quality. The study highlighted the potential of interactive and contextualized learning materials in addressing persistent challenges in science education and recommended further refinements for broader implementation.</span></p>
