| contents |
This work explores a novel theoretical framework aimed at unifying conservative mechanics with dissipative thermodynamics by extending the principle of Wick rotation beyond its conventional application in quantum field theory (QFT) and statistical mechanics. Traditionally, Wick rotation maps real time t to imaginary time τ = it, formally connecting quantum dynamics to statistical mechanics via path integrals over compactified Euclidean time. We propose a generalization where dissipative phenomena, such as friction, drag, and thermalization, are modeled dynamically as evolution along an effective imaginary time axis, complementary to the real-time evolution governing conservative forces.
|
