contents
This paper reveals Aravind Adiga’s hatred for the river of Ganga which becomes the river of death for him in his novel The White Tiger. He uses abusive words for the river Ganga and forgets the fact that India has her own identity because of the rishes and munies who got enlightenment on the bank of this river. The paper also raises question which concerns the pollution. He does not feel guilty while playing with the religious feelings of the Hindus who call the Ganga holy river. It seems that he has faith only in one religion—the religion of mockery.
