- <p>Tripura was several times attacked from the west by the Pathans and the Mughals. This paper highlights the political condition of Tripura before the Mughal inroads in the light of the administrative policies of its rulers as well as the social conditions of this tiny state. The impact of the Muslim invasion in Tripura finds an important place in this paper. As a whole, this paper makes an attempt to study the Mughal inroads in Tripura so as to understand their Socio-cultural and historical impact.</p>
