It presents how initial codes were grouped and abstracted into broader contingency themes, leading to the formulation of the nine final negative contingencies discussed in the paper.

2_Additional Expert Interview 1.pdf --Contains the working definitions of the nine negative contingencies. These were shared with interviewees either before the interview or presented at the beginning, when the interviewees had not had a chance to review them in advance. This ensured conceptual clarity during the expert discussions.

2_Additional_Expert Interview 2.pdf--Includes the expert interview protocol, participant overview, and the coding analysis from interview transcripts. It also reports interrater reliability (Cohen’s Kappa) and documents newly suggested contingencies, along with explanations for inclusion or exclusion.

3_Expanded mapping contingency to literature.pdf --Provides a detailed table mapping each negative contingency to corresponding themes or challenge concepts drawn from previous process mining literature. This supports the external validity and academic positioning of the identified contingencies.

If you have questions regarding the supplementary materials, please get in touch with the corresponding author.
|
