| contents |
School absenteeism is a significant issue that negatively impacts students' academic performance, social
development, and overall well-being. Various factors contribute to absenteeism, including physical
health issues, personal attitudes, teacher-related factors, classroom conditions, and home-related
circumstances. Understanding these contributing factors is essential for developing effective strategies
to improve student attendance and engagement. The study identifies the most common reasons for
absenteeism and highlights the factors that have the greatest influence on attendance patterns. The
findings reveal that physical health challenges, negative personal attitudes, and uncomfortable
classroom conditions are among the top contributors to absenteeism. Additionally, the quality of
teacher-student interactions and the level of parental involvement also play significant roles. The
research suggests that interventions such as improving communication between parents and teachers,
creating more engaging and supportive classroom environments, and addressing health concerns can
help reduce absenteeism. By providing insights into the various factors influencing school attendance,
this study aims to inform educators, parents, and policymakers about potential solutions to address
absenteeism. Ultimately, these efforts will help create a more inclusive and effective learning
environment, ensuring that students are able to reach their full academic and personal potential.
|
