contents <p>This repository contains the original raw datasets and a Python Jupyter Notebook associated with the paper "Sodium sorption and desorption in riparian soils impacted by road salt application." This analysis investigates how road salt applications affect riparian soil chemistry, with a specific focus on how sodium is temporarily retained and subsequently released through adsorption and desorption processes. The datasets include information on sodium adsorption capacity, cation exchange capacity, desorption characteristics, and various soil properties such as clay content, organic matter percentage, and pH. All the necessary information to navigate these files can be found in the README file. The dataset is described in the following publication.
