Underground gas pipelines play a critical role in gas transportation, and their durability directly affects the economic and environmental security of the region. One of the significant factors affecting the service life of underground steel gas pipelines is corrosion.</span></p> <p><span lang="EN-US">Corrosion protection allows you to extend the operational life of pipelines, but this requires regular inspections and assessment of their condition. This article discusses the method of using the transient resistance of an insulating coating as a way to determine the remaining service life of steel gas pipelines.</span></p>
