| contents | <p><span lang="EN-US">The aim of this study is to assess the applicability and prognostic value of the Surgical Apgar Score (SAS) in vascular surgery. The study is based on retrospective data analysis of 119 patients who underwent vascular procedures at the Institute of Emergency Medicine. It was found that low SAS values (0–4 points) correlate with a high risk of postoperative complications, including thromboembolism, pneumonia, sepsis, and mortality. SAS is a simple but informative tool that can improve risk stratification and increase the quality of surgical care.</span></p> |
