It can be distinguished by the forewings without distinct lines along veins; the tongue-shaped gnathos obtuse at apex, and the digitate clasper reaching costa in the male genitalia; the ductus bursae anteriorly with a sclerotized triangular plate entered into the corpus bursae, and the corpus bursae with dense long spines arranged quadrately in the female genitalia. In A. dealbatella, the forewing has black lines along veins; the fusiformis gnathos is pointed at apex, and the short thumb-shaped clasper does not extend to the costa; the ductus bursae lacks a plate anteriorly, and the corpus bursae bears long spines arranged in rectangle and in C-shape, respectively.

Description. Adult (Fig. 1). Wingspan 20.0–21.0 mm.

Head. Vertex rounded, pale yellow covered with reddish brown. Antenna with scape pale yellow covered with reddish brown, 1.8 times as long as wide; flagellum reddish brown, with long light yellow scales on dorsal surface, with short white ciliae on ventral surface. Labial palpus pale yellow mixed with brown on outer surface, white on inner surface, obliquely upturned and reaching beyond vertex; segment II twice as long as segment III; segment III extended forward.

Thorax. Thorax, patagia and tegula reddish brown. Forewing reddish brown, mixed with black scales; yellow band extending from base to distal 1/6 along anterior margin, mixed with reddish brown scales; antemedial and postmedial lines as well as discal spot absent; fringe brown. Hindwing light yellow; terminal line brown; fringe white.

Abdomen. Yellowish brown on dorsal surface, beige on ventral surface. Eighth sternum with anterior margin concave and carrying a mastoid process medially, posterior margin triangular; with four pairs of culcita.

Male genitalia (Fig. 2). Uncus triangular, pointed at apex, twice as long as basal width. Gnathos broad, tongue-shaped, rounded at apex, about 1/2 length of uncus. Valva relatively short, 4 times as long as maximum median width, rounded apically; clasper elongate digitate, situated at basal 2/5; costa narrow, reaching tip of valva; sacculus triangular, wide at base, narrowed to pointed apex, about 3/5 length of valva. Vinculum U-shaped, twice as long as wide, anterior margin rounded. Juxta V-shaped, length longer than width. Aedeagus cylindrical, 1.7 times as long as valva, with dense spinules in basal 4/7, with cone-shaped spines divided into two clusters in distal 3/7.

Female genitalia (Fig. 3). Papillae anales subtriangular, 1.3 times as long as wide, with dense short setae. Apophyses posteriores almost as long as apophyses anteriores, apophyses anterior inflated near base. Eighth tergum 1.3 times as wide as long; posterior margin straight, with long setae; anterior margin produced medially, sinuate. Ductus bursae membranous, anteriorly widened and with dense granules, with a sclerotized triangular plate entered into corpus bursae. Corpus bursae ovoid, with a cluster of long spines arranged in square shape at right side medially.

Distribution. China (Xinjiang).

Etymology. The new species is named in honor of late Professor Zhemin Zheng (Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an, China) for his outstanding contribution to the taxonomic study of insects.
