contents
Abstract
This paper proposes a structural model of human consciousness based on the resonance
between two functional centers: a primary tension-regulating center (identified with the
accessory nerve system) and a secondary cognitive-linguistic projection center (the cortical
system). The model is structurally mapped to cosmic dynamics, associating the primary
center with gravitational contraction (black holes) and the secondary with expansive dark
energy. Consciousness is framed as the emergent synchronization between these centers.
1 Structural Hypothesis
We hypothesize that human consciousness arises not from a singular neurological origin but
from the dynamic interaction between two structurally distinct but functionally entangled
systems:
• Primary Center: Associated with the accessory nerve (cranial nerve XI), rooted in
the medulla oblongata and cervical spinal cord (C1–C5). This system governs postural
tension, respiratory modulation, and voice-motor coupling.
• Secondary Center: The cerebral cortex and its language-imagination subsystems,
responsible for memory, planning, and abstract thought.
